Beginners and experienced sewists welcome. Regular sessions are $60 per person for 90 minutes, including Sewing 101. Introductory offer once per new student across all regular group classes; specialty workshops and private lessons are excluded.

Understand your machine and build a confident foundation in sewing. Get familiar with threading, basic settings and stitch control, then practice the fundamentals of working with fabric and seams. Learn at a patient pace, with guidance that helps you understand what you are doing and why.

Learn construction, finishing and how garments come together. Explore how individual pieces become a finished garment, why the order of construction matters and how seam and finishing choices affect the result. Build an understanding of both how a garment is sewn and why it is constructed that way.

Develop skills in garment fit and alterations. Learn to recognize fit issues, consider the adjustments a garment needs and understand how those changes affect its shape and movement. Practice thinking through alterations so you can approach fit problems with a clearer plan.
